Tumbleweed Logistics is owned by Delvin & Brittany Boehm from Mandan, ND. It is fairly new, having started in 2021, but it is operated based on the knowledge that they have obtained from owning a number of successful businesses.
Delvin grew up farming and ranching with his family, operating equipment and caring for livestock. In his teen years, he and his brothers started a company buying, restoring, and selling antique tractors throughout the United States and occasionally overseas. In 2017, Delvin, his father, and brother had the opportunity to take over the Vermeer dealership that was started by his grandpa in the 1970s, and they have since grown West River Equipment into the 2nd highest selling Vermeer dealership in North America.
Delvin’s wife, Brittany, grew up around the trucking industry and her father managed a trucking company out of Chicago in the 80s and 90s. Brittany’s father has many decades of experience in long haul logistics and helped Delvin get into over the road transportation. In 2014, Delvin and his brother started Four Winds Trucking while running a couple of Kenworths in the North Dakota oilfields. He has since established a successful business in doing long haul for oversize/overweight equipment, specialty beans via van trailer, and regional hauling of tanker and hopper bottom work.
In 2021, Tumbleweed Logistics was started to provide solutions to customers for logistics needs that Four Winds Trucking might not be able to provide. Tumbleweed Logistics has been able to provide a broader range of options to get our customers’ products where they need to be.
Delvin and Brittany are focused on working hard and helping people succeed. Their multi-industry experience makes Tumbleweed uniquely qualified to take care of your transportation needs since they have also been on your side of the fence. The goal is to provide reliable services for reasonable rates, from a company that you can trust.
